I have fooling around with other cameras for a while. I still think the DP1 is a small wonder. It’s a really unpractical, slow camera – almost like a prototype, but the images can match a Canon 5D Mark II. It’s a joy to see the per-pixel sharpness and color rendering. Canon images has their value, but seen in 100% or 200%, they look unclear and processed.
If you feel the Dp1 has a low resolution, just stitch images for larger output. In this image two images are stitched horizontally to get wider angles and a better crop margin.
